  Each lick in this pack is extracted from a full solo, and intended to be
reworked into your own solos, so you know you're getting the real deal here! Dave makes great use of the full range of
the neck, creating lines and ideas that are both simple yet sophisticated. The licks are well thought-out, paced to let
the notes breathe and executed with conviction and soul - this is Melodic Blues at its finest!
  
  The highly
jammable backing track is based on a 12-bar sequence with a few extended chords thrown in for good measure, this gives
you a little more melodic freedom than a standard I-IV-V Blues but remains within a familiar Blues framework.
  
  On the technique front Dave uses hybrid picking, double-stops, bending, vibrato, slides, hammer-ons and pull-offs to
great effect, combined with targeting chord tones, repetition and tension and release to challenge the listeners
expectations.
  
  Studying the TAB/Notation alongside the accompanying lick notes, will help you to learn and
master these expressive Blues phrases. We've also included a short play through video so that you can see and hear the
context of each lick, and how Dave skilfully strings them all together to create an interesting and coherent solo. These
